Privacy

We collect the information we need to respond to enquiries, prepare quotes, process orders and provide support. This may include your name, email address, phone number, shipping details, the country you are in and details about your site and order.

We do not sell personal information. We share it with service providers only where needed to run our business, such as shipping, hosting and email providers. Flood Control is based in Australia, and some of these providers may store or process information in other countries.

We use this information to respond to your enquiry and to prepare and fulfil your order, which is in our and your legitimate interest. We keep enquiry and order records for as long as we need them for that work and for our business records.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. Visitors in the UK, the European Economic Area and Switzerland are asked first, and analytics cookies are only set if they accept. The site also remembers in your browser which page you first arrived on, so an enquiry can tell us how you found us.

Your information

To see, correct or delete information we hold about you, email info@floodcontrolglobal.com. We may need to keep some records where the law requires it or where they relate to an order or warranty. If you are in the UK or the European Economic Area, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Shipping

We supply projects worldwide. Freight, delivery terms and lead times are set out in each quote, and vary by product, destination and order volume.

Quotes and orders

Every product on this website is supplied on a quote. Prices, quantities, freight and payment terms are confirmed in writing before an order is placed, and the quote you accept sets out the terms of that order.

We do not accept returns for change of mind.

If a product is faulty or does not match its description, contact us and we will work with you to repair or replace it.

Warranty

Where a product is supplied with a written warranty against defects, we send the full warranty terms with your quote or order documents. Nothing in these policies limits any rights you have under the consumer law that applies to your purchase.

Product performance

Our products are designed to hold back or reduce floodwater at the opening they are placed across, up to the height stated for the product or for your order. They do not guarantee that a property will stay dry.

How well a product works depends on it being the right size for the opening, set up as instructed on a suitable surface, and in place before water arrives. With some products, minor seepage can occur, particularly on uneven or damaged surfaces.

Water can also enter a building through drains, walls, floors and other openings. Our products do not protect against these.
